Hello,

evaluating packet filters I came across nftables. Looking at the GIT it
seems there haven't been much in input since last year.
Is this project still alive and actively developed? Is there a time plan
for the next release?

Thanks!
Marcus

I am also very interested and badly want to use nftables.

Thanks,
François.

I had to spend some time on other work, but a new release is planned
as soon as I can finish a few more minor things. I guess I'll try to
update the trees before that, I there are a large number of changes
queued that are already worth testing.

I'll send out an announcement once this has happened.

You should name it "beta" this time for more testing will happen :-)

I'll be happy to test as soon as you announce something new.

François.

Hi Patrick,

Any news on a future nftables release?

Thanks,
François.

I still have to forward merge a few patches, but it shouldn't
be much longer. With some luck I'll get it done this weekend.

Hello Patrick and list,

Just a quick check on the status of nftables.

Is a release planned in short or medium-term?

Thanks,
François.

No major updates but I really would like to find time to take over
this development.
