This is an update for the patcheset I had posted earlier.

The changes from v1 are:
 - re-write the MSI fix a bit make it look better [and also update
commit message - noted by sshtylyov@mvista.com]
 - Add two more patches for XLP - one to probe FDT SoC devices, and
another to add a few IRQs which will be used for SoC devices.

[Description of the patchset from v1]
Fixes and updates for the next merge window. This includes
 - PCI fixs for XLR/XLS
 - I2C, Flash and USB platform drivers for XLR/XLS
 - XLP SMP code update and clean up
 - XLP TLB size fix
 - XLP USB and PCI changes.

Let me know if there are any comments.

Thanks,
JC.

The correct irq is PIC_PCIX_IRQ

From: Ganesan Ramalingam <ganesanr@broadcom.com>

MSI interrupts do not work on XLS after commit a776c49
( "PCI: msi: Disable msi interrupts when we initialize a pci device" )
because the change disables MSI interrupts on the XLS PCIe bridges
during the PCI enumeration.

Fix this by enabling MSI interrupts on the bridge in the
arch_setup_msi_irq() function. A new function xls_get_pcie_link()
has been introduced to get the PCI device corresponding to the
top level PCIe bridge on which MSI has to be enabled.

Also, update get_irq_vector() to use the new xls_get_pcie_link()
function and PCI_SLOT() macro for determining the IRQ of PCI devices.

Starting other threads in the core will change the number of
TLB entries of a CPU. Re-calculate current_cpu_data.tlbsize
on the boot cpu after enabling and waking up other threads.

The secondary CPUs do not need this logic because the threads
are enabled on the secondary cores at wakeup and before cpu_probe.

No change in logic, comments update and whitespace cleanup.

* A few comments in the file were in assembler style and the rest
int C style, convert all of them to C style.
* Mark workarounds for Ax silicon with a macro XLP_AX_WORKAROUND
* Whitespace fixes - use tabs consistently
* rename __config_lsu macro to xlp_config_lsu

Update for core intialization code. Initialize status register
after receiving NMI for CPU wakeup. Add the low level L1D flush
code before enabling threads in core.

Also convert the ehb to _ehb so that it works under more GCC
versions.

Remove NETLOGIC_ prefix from gpio register definitions, this will
bring it in-line with the other Netlogic headers.

Having NETLOGIC prefix here is misleading because these are XLR/XLS
specific register definitions.

From: Ganesan Ramalingam <ganesanr@netlogicmicro.com>

Adds support for the XLP on-chip PCIe controller. On XLP, the
on-chip devices(including the 4 PCIe links) appear in the PCIe
configuration space of the XLP as PCI devices.

The changes are to initialize and register the PCIe controller,
enable hardware byte swap in the PCIe IO and MEM space, and to
enable PCIe interrupts.

From: Jayachandran C @ 2012-05-08 12:42 UTC (permalink / raw)
To: linux-mips, ralf; +Cc: Ganesan Ramalingam, Jayachandran C

From: Ganesan Ramalingam <ganesanr@netlogicmicro.com>

The XLP USB controller appears as a device on the internal SoC PCIe
bus, the block has 2 EHCI blocks and 4 OHCI blocks. Change are to:

* Add files netlogic/xlp/usb-init.c and asm/netlogic/xlp-hal/usb.h
to initialize the USB controller and define PCI fixups. The PCI
fixups are to setup interrupts and DMA mask.
* Update include/asm/xlp-hal/{iomap.h,pic.h,xlp.h} to add interrupt
  mapping for EHCI/OHCI interrupts.

Probe and add devices on SoC "simple-bus" on startup. This will
in turn add devices like I2C controller that are specified in the
device tree under 'soc'.
