While looking at Debian bug #794071 I came across this which may or may not
resolve that bug, but looks like it ought to be backported anywhere that
XSA-57 was applied.

It is in staging-4.5, but not staging-4.4 and I didn't go older.

I have backported this as far as 4.2.
