this is one that is hard to do automatically because it's also an
abbreviation for "if and only if". See
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/If_and_only_if . In the single place it
was changed below, the abbreviation was intended.

I guess these fixes come from some tool. Mind mentioning in the commit
message what it is? I would have guessed codespell, but codespell
doesn't have this entry, so it must be something else.

this is one that is hard to do automatically because it's also an abbreviation for "if and only if". See https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/If_and_only_if . In the single place it was changed below, the abbreviation was intended.

I guess these fixes come from some tool. Mind mentioning in the commit message what it is? I would have guessed codespell, but codespell doesn't have this entry, so it must be something else.
