The mailing list servers were experiencing problems last night, but have now
been fixed. I see Thomas's messages have now made it through as of this morning
so I guess all is now working as expected, although I'm not sure about the
gmane bridge for sending as I have never tried to use that method.

Yes, the gmane bridge works for me and I'm not subscribed to the mailing
list. I guess the delay I saw was due to the list server issues.
