Hi,

I hope you can help me with this. I wanted to set aliases like 'ls=ls 
--color=auto' permanently in X Konsole. It seems that all aliases in .bashrc 
did not apply in X Konsole. How can I do this?

Run the x console with 
xterm -ls 
or
rxvt -ls
(if you use something else your on your own :-) )

For other programs there must be an option to run as 
a login shel

konsole --ls &

or modify the shortcut to execute with --ls
