How should I really reply to emails coming from this
mailinglist?
I wonder because when I get replays from you, I
sometimes get two of the same email. Because you send
the email to my email address and a Cc to this
mailinglist which I subscribe to. When I send replays
should I send the email to the mailinglist or should I
send the replay to the person who sent the email with
the mailinglist-address as Cc?

Do whatever you prefer, and ask people about your reply preferency.
Usually it is a policy and a good thing(?) to send private replies _and_
a Cc to the mailing list. For example if you send a private mail, then
other users/developers won't see that your problem is taken care of, or
simple mail list send would result a lost wood in the forest effect, so
your mail might be 'lost' in other mailing list mails.
Sometimes this annoys me, but I like it more often the way it happens.
What's your taste?

Regards,
Laszlo

Yes I can see your point, It's a little annoying when
you get two of the same email, but I have also
experienced 'lost' emails. And I prefere two of the
same email more than one lost email, that I thought
I'd never got.

the duplicate e-mail problem can be solved if your e-mail account is
stored in an unix shell to which you have some sort of access (ssh). if
it is, you can use formail and procmail to eliminate duplicates. it
works, I do it.
