Why such an ancient kernel?

I need 2.6.4 as I need to make Xen operate with some other drivers
that are not compatible with 2.6.9

Has anybody tried using Xen 2.0.1 on 2.6.4

Thanks

Nauzad

You will need to backport our sparse tree to 2.6.4. Not a trivial task
and tedious to keep uptodate. I think the first 2.6 version we checked
into bk was based on 2.6.7 (July/August 2004). Of course that version
won't run anymore on current xen and it's also missing a lot of bug
fixes. I think that at the most you could review some of the "upgrade
to linux 2.6.x" checkins to see what was changed when upgrading to a
newer Linux version...

Not really. The current supported 2.6 is 2.6.10. 2.6.4 came before the Xen
2.0 release so there likely won't be a 2.6 port that'll work on 2.0.1.

Any reason not to just use 2.6.10?

Cheers,
Mark
