I got a new CCD 800B barcode scanner, but it has the same device id like
an other product from Tenx, which is on the ignore list for hid devices.

Found nothing about the old product so I report it here.
If the old one get removed from the ignore list the bardcode scanner
works perfect!

Im not sure how to handle duplicate ids..

Current state (2.6.29-rc4):

drivers/hid/hid-core.c:
line 1481: static const struct hid_device_id hid_ignore_list[] = {
line 1613: { HID_USB_DEVICE(USB_VENDOR_ID_TENX,
USB_DEVICE_ID_TENX_IBUDDY1) },
line 1614: { HID_USB_DEVICE(USB_VENDOR_ID_TENX,
USB_DEVICE_ID_TENX_IBUDDY2) },

drivers/hid/hid-ids.h:
#define USB_VENDOR_ID_TENX              0x1130
#define USB_DEVICE_ID_TENX_IBUDDY1      0x0001

Let the HID maintainer know, he should probably just remove these ignore
values now that the manufacturer has fixed the device.

The device IDs were added by Remi, added to CC.

Remi, are these really different devices with the same VID/PID? You were
stating that the devices are not HID-compilant, which contradicts what
Michael is saying ...

Thanks,
