Hello Luis
i have no kernel.log. All my attemps to get a kernel.log or kern.log with syslog-ng where in vain. Mhhh????
Here is a list of my logfiles in /var/log/ Directory:
cups/             kdm.log           messages.3.gz     syslog
dmesg             lastlog           messages.4.gz     uucp.log
emerge-fetch.log  mail.err          mysql/            wtmp
emerge.log        maillog           news/             wtmp.1.gz
faillog           mail.log          portage/          xdm.log
gdm/              messages          rc.log            Xorg.0.log
genkernel.log     messages.1.gz     samba/            Xorg.0.log.old
HOSTS/            messages.2.gz     sandbox/          

So how i can debug ath9k or get the debug messages????
