I don't think I'll be at ELCE but Peter will be attending from TI.

Mark and I are looking at another ASoC/Audio workshop at LPC, to go over
progress and planning for the next development phase. Imo, this would
likely complement a BOF at LinuxCon since a good proportion of the BOF
audience will probably be different from LPC with different hardware,
requirements, users, etc.

I like the initiative and I'm all for having a sound BoF!

Unfortunately, the timing is bad. Ubuntu's biggest event, the Ubuntu
Developer Summit, is in Florida 24-28 October and my attendance is
required...

I have no current plans to attend these conferences, I'm planning to go
to LPC instead. Not sure if I'd be able to arrange it unless I get a KS
invite.

Yes, I don't think it's good for covering at KS as it's far too
detailed. If we're going to do something probably LinuxCon/ELC Europe
make most sense.

If nothing else we can always arrange something in the hallway/beer
tracks.

I'll be both in Prague and in Santa Rosa, and be happy to join you in
both occasions (even if I don't work on audio as much as I used to).

Actually the UDS has suddenly moved to 31 October - 4 November instead,
so it will likely be possible for me to attend LinuxCon should you have
a sound BoF there. As it's time to start book tickets it would be good
to know whether that'll be the case or not.

As a side note, I just saw an announcement that there will probably be a
PulseAudio session at the desktop summit. [1] If that means a lot of
audio people are going there, perhaps that could be an alternative
location for the sound BoF as well? Takashi and others, will you be at
the desktop summit?

Colin, Arun and I will be there at least.
