If 0.16.4 works fine we can lower the bar to that one. 0.12.0 is known
to *not* work. I picked 0.18.4 because (a) it is known good and (b) is
the minimum version required by spice so it looked like a good pick to me.

I don't think we should be depending on bleeding-edge pixman
ideally (even if we can get away with it because of our local
copy). Part of the argument for adding the pixman dep in the
first place was "all linux distros will have this"...

Most (or even all?) buildbots show the same problem which I have

Maybe I missed the discussion, but do we really need 0.18.4, or
should we allow older versions of pixman which are still part of

command timed out: 1200 seconds without output, attempting to kill"
The buildslave had a load average of 10 and was having trouble making
progress. I have killed off qemu processes and hopefully things will
work normally again.
I also tested that make check terminates in less than 40 seconds on my
local machine. Let's chalk this up to an overloaded buildslave.

BTW, I normally test with incremental builds. This failure only happens
with a clean build.

"virtfs-proxy-helper: Fix compilation on newer systems" patch, which
is queued in the trivial-patches tree. I will send a pull request in
a couple of hours after testing has completed.
