Hello,

I'm interested in building nodejs and nodejs modules within buildroot for
x64 and ARM targets. I've been using buildroot for several months and have
developed several new recipes, although none are of the complexity required
to build something like NodeJS.

I see that in August, another contributor posted a patch which started the
work to get nodejs building (see http://patchwork.ozlabs.org/patch/176857/).
I've been working on getting that patch to work with buildroot 2012.11 and
node 0.8.x. I was wondering if anyone else out there had worked on this as
well? Is anyone else interested in having NodeJS in buildroot or am I on
an island?

Thanks,

       -dp

I think besides the patch we received back in August, no activity
occurred around NodeJS packaging. Besides a few comments, the patch
sent in August looked mostly good, so if you could push it further by
fixing the issues, and resending it, it would definitely be nice.

Best regards,

Thomas
