No.  I generally use 'quilt' and insert the patches into my email client.  If it's better to do something else, let me know and I will do that.

Take a look at git-format-patch and git-send-email. :)

Generally this is preferred as the patches can be applied
automatically via git-am

I had no difficulty applying the patch with "git am".

Jon:  feel free to use quilt if that works for you.  If it ever causes
problems, I'll let you know.
