Hi,

When I use luksChangeKey to change my passphrase it did not ask me to enter
the new passphrase twice for confirmation. Is there a good reason for that
or is it an oversight? It makes me very nervous about typos.

Thanks,
Chris

Hi Chris,

using option -y or --verify-passphrase should fix that.
It is just not the default and the reason for that is
that on most operations it is non-critical and the default
is global.

There are two ways of constructing a software design: One way is to make it
so simple that there are obviously no deficiencies, and the other way is to
make it so complicated that there are no obvious deficiencies. The first
method is far more difficult. --Tony Hoare
