Hi,
OASIS VIRTIO Committee Specification Public Review Draft is about to
release. There are some major changes (e.g. new balloon device) but
main ideas are not substantially changed in comparison to original
VIRTIO document (http://ozlabs.org/~rusty/virtio-spec/virtio-0.9.5.pdf).
I raised Xen community concerns in regards to VRITIO security in Xen
environment. However, committee decided to release a draft and prepare
reference implementations which will show all weaknesses and strengths
of VRITIO. Now we are going to prepare relevant implementations.
Later all results from tests will be used to release improved next
draft.
Information about VIRTIO draft release should be sent to Xen-devel
directly from OASIS shortly. If you have any comments you could send
