Subject: [meta-ti] How to compile omap3-sgx-modules_4.09.00.01
Hi,
I tried to compile recent versions (4.08 or 4.09) of SGX modules for my
Beagleboard-C4 using the current Yoctoproject environment (tried Poky,
beagleboard-dylan-9.0.0, and Angstrom Linux with the same result).
In every case i got this error message:

Yes, i would need a working OpenGL on my Beagleboard-C4 with 3.x kernel. (4.05
works well with 2.6 but crashes with 3.x)

There were several updates and fixes since 4.09.00.01 version of Graphics SDK,
the latest being 5.01.00.01. Unfortunately, X11 and DRM handling was not
supported and un-tested for some time, but 5.01.00.01 was meant to fix some of
those issues...

Can I add it im my image recipe, or do I need to add it on machine.conf?
Why the newest version is not selected by default?

Did you see messages like this during the initial parsing:
WARNING: libgles-omap3-5.01.00.01 ONLY supports hardfp mode for now
Unfortunately, 5.x series of graphics is only available for hardfp mode for
now...

Set DEFAULTTUNE in your distro or local config to one of the available values,
like armv7athf-neon or cortexa8thf-neon etc.

I's there a image recipe to test this module?

We use it in our Arago distribution and SDKs and there are image recipes in
meta-arago for that. If you use meta-ti with other distributions, you'd have
to come up with your own image recipe or modify one of the existing ones.

I realized that meta-arago is not compatible with dora branch. Is there any

Yes, meta-arago is compatible with dora. But this is not the right mailing
