Add support for two module variants from Ka-Ro electronics equipped
with an i.MX6UL processor running at 528MHz.

Both modules are equipped with 256MiB DDR3 SDRAM.
The TXUL-0010 has 128MiB NAND flash, while the TXUL-0011 is equipped
with 4GiB eMMC.

From: Lothar Waßmann @ 2016-01-12 18:01 UTC (permalink / raw)
  To: linux-arm-kernel

Add support for two module variants from Ka-Ro electronics equipped
with an i.MX6UL processor running at 528MHz.

Both modules are equipped with 256MiB DDR3 SDRAM.
The TXUL-0010 has 128MiB NAND flash, while the TXUL-0011 is equipped
with 4GiB eMMC.

If you leave the spidev node, the spi core will complain loudly about it.

Is this needed or useful?

There's a movement that aims to do "reproducible builds" ... being
able to recompile an image and verify it against the supplied can be
helpful for security audit purposes.

Probably not for upstream inclusion?

Ooops. I was on the wrong branch when creating these patches. Will
resend this patch series soon.

I know. But this gives the opportunity to test the SPI interface
without any bogus chip definitions.
