discovered that link to oftc.net on IRC page is broken and I would like
to fix this.

Would it be better to keep the current oftc.net hyperlink as is,
and add a hyperlink to "irc network" that points to
https://webchat.oftc.net/ ?

For the record - a hour ago /oftc/ link was 404. Now it redirects to
the main page :)

Added the web version to the list of clients. It does make it better for people
not familiar with IRC or who just prefer to use their browser.
