Hello,

On behalf of the QEMU Team, I'd like to announce the availability of the
sixth release candidate for the QEMU 2.7 release. This release is meant
for testing purposes and should not be used in a production environment.

A note from the maintainer:

  This RC contains a mixed bag of last-minute fixes:
   * some fixes for virtio queue reference counts
   * a bsd-user build fix
   * a bug fix for VNC displays not be refreshing correctly
   * a fix for a segfault when using the gdb server with KVM
   * a bug fix for -net socket blocking when it should not
   * a fix for a build failure if CFLAGS ended up with multiple -On options
   * a security fix for the 9pfs server which was not being sufficiently
     suspicious about filenames it was passed by the client

  Unless any of these turn out to themselves have "sets
  your machine on fire" level critical bugs, I plan to
  tag the final release with no further changes on Friday.
