Hello!

I was wondering what the current status of the new obdisk driver for GRUB
was and whether there is still a chance for the driver to be merged?

I know that Oracle is slowing down on SPARC work, but both in Debian and Gentoo,
people are still actively working on Linux for SPARC so it would be great
if pending improvements for GRUB on SPARC could still be integrated.

FWIW, I will be around at FOSDEM, so I would be happy to meet for a chat.

Adrian

AFAICT Eric is busy with other stuff but he is going to post new version.
I am not sure when it can happen. Eric?

I will be there too. You can find me at GRUB stand or during
presentation about the GRUB at Distro devroom.

Daniel

There were quite a few modifications requested in the V2 patch I sent. Specifically the request to drop the code around replace_escaped_commas(). I have not had time to come up with a solution yet to do this another way. When I do, I will post a V3.
