FYI, the error/warning still remains.

reproduce:
        git checkout 4d49aa8a40ceecfd8a6b2d4e1b86396fbeedbb01
        # save the attached .config to linux build tree
        make ARCH=x86_64 

If you fix the issue, kindly add following tag

All errors (new ones prefixed by >>):
