Hello all

This series adds support for the OV5693 sensor found as the front camera in
many Microsoft Surface devices, along with a number of similar style laptops.
It is a heavily adapted derivative of the atomisp-ov5693 driver in staging,
which retains most of the global register settings and some of the other
functions from that driver, but otherwise uses the "normal" v4l2
infrastructure.

Series changes since v4:

	- Added 2 patches from Hans which are fixing some problems he spotted.

The .suspend() and .resume() runtime_pm operations for the ipu3-cio2
driver currently do not handle the sensor's stream. Setting .s_stream() on
or off for the sensor subdev means that sensors will pause and resume the
stream at the appropriate time even if their drivers don't implement those
operations.

The OV5693 is a 5 Mpx CMOS image sensor, connected via MIPI CSI-2. The
chip is capable of a single lane configuration, but currently only two
lanes are supported.

Most of the sensor's features are supported, with the main exception
being the lens correction algorithm.

The driver provides all mandatory, optional and recommended V4L2 controls
for maximum compatibility with libcamera.

Add a link frequency to the cio2-bridge table of supported sensors.
This means that the driver can parse supported link frequencies from
firmware in the usual way and validate that it can accommodate them.

ov5693_sw_standby() starts/stops streaming rename it so that it is actually
named after what it does.

This also removes the weird enable inverting going on before.

From: Hans de Goede <hdegoede@redhat.com>

ov5693_s_stream() was calling __v4l2_ctrl_handler_setup() without first
locking ov5693->lock, triggering the "lockdep_assert_held(hdl->lock);"
check in __v4l2_ctrl_handler_setup() leading to a kernel backtrace.

ov5693_s_stream() does already take the ov5693->lock, move the
mutex_lock call up (in the enable path) so that it also protects the
__v4l2_ctrl_handler_setup() call.

This should be !enable, since ov5693_sw_standby()
sets OV5693_START_STREAMING on !standby.

This also used the be !enable in a previous
version of this series. I guess that maybe
at one point you tried to squash my
"media: i2c: ov5693: Rename ov5693_sw_standby() to ov5693_enable_streaming()"

patch which in its original version changes the parameter
from !enable to enable since the new function behaves more logical.

Also see my reply to the the version of:
"media: i2c: ov5693: Rename ov5693_sw_standby() to ov5693_enable_streaming()"

In this series.

Hans

In this version of this patch the function still behaves as if it is
setting the sensor in a standby mode, my original version had this:

	ov5693_write_reg(ov5693, OV5693_SW_STREAM_REG,
			 enable ? OV5693_START_STREAMING : OV5693_STOP_STREAMING,
			 &ret);

Which makes the function behave more logical.

And my original version changes the true to false here, stopping
streaming on init (as before when setting standby to true,
including the error messages being different:

	ret = ov5693_enable_streaming(ov5693, false);
	if (ret)
		dev_err(ov5693->dev, "%s stop streaming error\n", __func__);

And this used to be a change from !enable -> enable.

Note that the current version cannot work, you pass enable
(instead of !enable) but ov5693_enable_streaming() still
sends OV5693_STOP_STREAMING if enable is true, so you are
now stopping streaming when called to enable it ?

Besides this needing some work, it is fine with me, and
I believe that it is best, to just squash this and
patch 5/5 into patch 2 (since your introducing this
driver in this series it is a bit to then apply fixes
to it in the same series).

Hans

OK; I'll squash them then. Sorry to have messed up the application too!
The patch wouldn't apply cleanly due to other changes I'd made, and
apparently I wasn't nearly as careful sorting it as I thought I had been.
