Attendees:
Michael, Paul, Joshua, Saul, Darren, Matthew, Richard, Scott, Beth, Jessica, Jason (TI), Tom, Bruce, Mark, Denys, Jeff (WRS), Sean, Dave, Song

Focus of the week: top priority is M2 stabilization and bug fixing. Continue with feature development.

Action item:
- Paul to work with Jeremy and others to move 1598 forward. (WIP)

Agenda:
* Opens collection - 5 min (Song)
* Yocto 1.1.1 point release update - 10 min (Josh/Beth)
  - Late last night the build is out. Have all the fixes. One about HOB is not fixed, will be in the release note. CCB meeting in 2 hours. Joshua's branch will merge after CCB meeting. Doc string change are ready , Scott will need to run through the example after Beth gives the go-ahead. Beth can make that ready today. Scott does not need to re-verify after Josh's branch merges.

* Yocto 1.2 M2 status - 10 min (Song/Bruce/Team)
https://wiki.yoctoproject.org/wiki/Yocto_Project_v1.2_Status
  - release date change from Feb. 3rd to 10th, everything else stays the same.
  - M2 code freeze already happened. We are in stabilization week. Top priority is to stabilize M2 build and bug fixing.
  - P1 features: HOB2 is in private branch, all M2 development is done. Richard has been reviewing patches. Have some comments, PRC team is working on them. ScottG's bitbake error handling feature will be handled by Richard and Paul. Richard has done some ground work. Will follow up with Scott and Paul on what and who for the next step. Package history (Paul) feature has made progress. Paul had discussions with Richard, we are ok with M2 delivery on this feature. There are some further work for M3 and possibly post 1.2.
  - We had less medium+ bug outstanding this week (91) compared with last week (108). Bug count is in control. Good progress from the team on bug fixing.

* Opens - 10 min
  - Michael, worked at Intel on Yocto, now working for Linux foundation focusing on Yocto Project. background web side, small business, now working on upgrading Bugzilla and some virtualization, happy to work full time on Yocto. Will help with Shoeleather, available via IRC, email.
  - Song SWAT kickoff. Song has sent the email about the SWAT team to the yocto mailing list. SWAT team will be in position starting from this week. Either Darren or Beth will be the first rotating Chair person.
  - Mark: Cross pre-linker update - long standing bug (9 month), finally figured about the reason. Missing a check, sent out a patch to OE core already. Does not seem causing problems, does fix the problem. The fix should integrate by the end of the week. Now pre-linker works on all arch's except ppc64.

* Action item Review - 5 min
- Mark will review unsorted features from Wind River team and try to have them scheduled (WIP, Reviewed, some of them should be scheduled by WRS team. Song will follow up to double check. Drop this one from the list)

Attendees:
Beth, Scott, Dave, Darren, Tom, Richard, Matthew, Mark, Denys, Paul, Belen, Saul, Josh, Jeff, Michael, Jessica, Bruce, Song

Agenda

* Opens collection - 5 min (Song)
* Yocto 1.1.1 point release update - 10 min (Josh/Beth)
  - We have SSB approval
  - working through doc example, running into an issue, working through it (new branch). Trying to have the build done for QA when they come back from CNY.
  - Scott is looking for ADT installer to verify the example. Beth will get back to Scott for the ADT installer tarball.
* Yocto 1.2 M2 status - 10 min (Song/Team)
https://wiki.yoctoproject.org/wiki/Yocto_Project_v1.2_Status
  - RC1 is out, QA has weekly test result. Looks good except the crownbay issue. Having an issue trying to get FRI II build. Crownbay fix will be pulled into RC2. Crownbay issue is fixed last week. Nitin's patches will fix FRI II.
  - Package update has met our target.
  - Bug fixing: no high bugs outstanding now. Have a little more bugs but the total number of medium+ bugs are still under control.

* Opens - 10 min
  - Song: Status to indicate the feature is in master: Developers should put the feature bug into 'fixed' state when the patch is in master. Darren has a place to check logs for feature status.
  - Scott Rifenbark: 1.1.1 ADT installer tarball
  -
* Action item Review - 5 min
  - Paul to work with Jeremy and others to move 1598 forward. (Leave it in Bugzilla to track it)

* Team Sharing - 20 min
Bruce: generated 3.2 kernel tree, now doing final build and test. There will be 1.2 candidate tree shortly. RP: ask Bruce to keep an eye on autobuilder. There was a problem with compile perf. Check any non-qemu machine. Bruce will take a look. The candidate tree may need more time to be ready.
Jessica: some 1.3 planning work. Waiting for tom's bsp kernel tool for M3 delivery.
Michael: Bad networking problem, fixed last week. working on setting on home office, some DNS fix for yocto.org, virtualization for eglibc, setting up servers for LF. This week upgrading Bugzilla, eglibc. Some hardware issue, but not really blockers, can work around it.
Jeff: nothing
Josh: working on stable release.
Saul: working with consolidated pulls, looking at M3 planning.
Belen: reviewing the UI implementation for 1.2, managing to get some visual done, not much time for Yocto, should be cleared in the next few days
Paul: working on error handling on bitbake, put in some of the fixes. Trying to get a lot annoyance and unhelpful messages. Please make Paul and Richard aware of the issue if you see any problem in this area. Will work on the build history. Encouraging people to file in bugzilla for any unhelpful error messages. This effort will be ongoing.
Denys:no
Mark: got permission from management for a public SE Linux layer. In a couple of days to get basic support. Tired of doing it ourselves. We put it out there, worst case we are still doing it on our own. This is not official announcement.
Matthew: testing 1.1.1, looks pretty good, just one issue. Will talk to Josh. Michael/Saul will add 1.1.1 version target in Bugzilla.
Richard: review patches, error handling, will work on bugs, get help for some other bugs.
Tom: worked on license, BSP and kernel tools, template engine working, next step is to put on the command line interface. By the beginning of M3, we should have something for Jessica. Will be working on kernel tools.
Darren: is there anyone who is interested in small distribution. Please look at pokyy-tiny, would like to get more feedback. If anyone interested in EFI, please send email to Darren,
Scott: verified 1.1.1 examples, except the ADT mannul. Created a paragraph for ScottG's virtual machine. In the coming week, finish the ADT manual for 1.1.1, get back on to some bugs. Only thing blocking is the installer.
Beth: worked on some license stuff, autobuilder layering, want to test out this Friday, may have some autobuilder downtime for testing this Friday.
Nitin: Sent a fix to Darren for FRI II problem, starting to look into gcc multi-lib, gdk recipe, etc.

Attendees:
Saul, Josh, Sean, Scott, Tom, Mark, Michael, Paul, Belen, Darren, Jessica, Fred (Intel), Jeff, Richard, Dave, Nitin, Song

Agenda

* Opens collection - 5 min (Song)
* Yocto 1.1.1 point release update - 10 min (Josh/Beth)
  - Josh: We have one example in the doc not working, probably a bug, trying to have a build this week.
  - ScottR: kernel SMP example is not working, filed a bug. Working for 1.1, should be fixed for 1.1.1
  - Darren: will find and look into it.
* Yocto 1.2 M2 status, M3 planning status - 10 min (Song/Team) https://wiki.yoctoproject.org/wiki/Yocto_Project_v1.2_Status

   - M2 RC1 full path test passed, we also tested latest distros and there is no new issue found there. We will schedule release readiness meeting later this week to release M2.
  - M3 planning is done. We have moved some P2/P3 features to post 1.2. P2/P3 are our goals, but not commitment for the release. RP: no need for CCB approval, ok to leave these to team leads and the team
  - Overall, statistically we have completed more than half of the features in terms of the number of features. Most of the P1 features are completed or close to be completed, such as HOB is pretty much done, we still need to address feedbacks from our last demo. Build appliance is mostly done. There would be a lot of polishing to be done. We could be seeing more bugs coming. Going forward in M3, we still have a lot of work to be done in Feb.
  - Quality side, we have been able to keep the number of open medium+ bugs down, last week there is a little bit of uptick (about 8 bugs), a. if you have time please take a look at some medium+ bugs and try t. b. for those people who have more bugs than others, please take a look and see if you can do something to those bugs (by yesterday, Saul and Tom have the most number of bugs).
   - Paul: on SWAT team this week. Will look into it. RP/Saul: Autobuilder should be fairly good now. The only open on autobuilder now is some infrastructure issue Beth needs to do.

* Review M3 release criteria
  - remove meta-intel BSP from release criteria.

* Opens - 10 min
  - Sean will be ELC, and the developer day.
  - Scott: 1.1.1 example.
  - Mark: Linux work. Hoping to get SE linux layer done in this week, taking longer than thought, all core SE linux integrated, appear to work. Got a place to work for anyone who is interested.
  - Jessica: YP developer day. Sean knows about the presentation and the panel discussion.
  - Richard: SWAT team. We have been in this for a couple of weeks. Would like to get some people together and see what worked and what did not. How to improve. It's important to get autobuilder working and continuous integration. Song will setup a the meeting, will include Michael also.

* Team Sharing - 20 min
 Richard: doing patch review, merging, manipulation, issues of shared states, etc. Already send out some patches on bitbake. We can do some clean up in meta now. Next week, continue these. Significant changes to come: change to native SDK, which has been discussed in the mailing. It's a fairly major change.
 - Jeff: nothing today
 - Fred: nothing today
  - Jessica: Looking at BSP tools proposals, sent replay back, will be working on that. Helped looked at some other issues.
 - Darren: working on a lot of internal stuff, prepare for ELC, this week will be mainly internal.
 - Belen: We watched the demo last week, going to be working on refinement.
 - Paul: talk accepted for ELC, on OE-core, how we work together, explain a new structure. Prepare for that. SWAT work for this week. Nothing major blocking.
 - Michael: we had some downtime on autobuilder due to some package update, repaired that. Added 1.1.1 to Bugzilla, cleaned up backup freed some space. Eglibc server is now our server, doing a virtual transition. There are some email issues, will be fixed. Next week, eglibc virtual transition, bugzilla upgrade, no blockers, waiting for DNS changes.
 - Mark: working on SE Linux last week, would like to share the work if anyone interested, doing some work around documentation, working with people at WRS who are new to YP, have a doc for intro to YP, will send to Saul/Richard. It's a 3 page doc, giving people a brief description about YP components. RP is interested to take a look. ScottR would like to see that too.
 - Tom: last week spent most of time on BSP tool, sent Jessica a link for something she can start using, continue on that this week. Licensing, internal BSP work, coming week will be more of those.
 - Scott: last week finished 1.1.1 manual changes, everything is verified except that example. Layer info to integrate. This week will take care of bugs dropped, moving on writing on new info for manual.
 - Josh: Been doing internal things, working on 1.1.1, this week more internal stuff to handle.
 - Saul: feeding patch machines, various bug fixing. Next week uclibc needs some work. Bug fixing, need to prepare for ELC and developer day.
 - Nitin: working on sun jdk recipe, almost done. Enabling gcc for multi-lib. Tom is going to check it out today. Prepare presentation for dev day, ELC.

If new documentation portions are released I would be happy to give them
a once over as I'm sure many on the list would if they were alerted to
the changes.

At the end of the day it's wholly in our interests to ensure that the
documentation is understandable by end-users and also to read as much as
we can to improve our own knowledge.

Cheers,
Jack.

Sorry for the late, somehow I thought I sent this out.

Attendees:
Saul, Darren, Dave, Beth, Josh, Richard, Scott, Tom, Paul, Belen, Michael, Jeff, Matthew, Jessica, Sean, Song

Messages to the team:
1. Please complete your items and get them to patch review asap, do not wait until the end of M3 if you can.
2. If you own one of those items not started yet for M3, please take a look and see if you can start them asap since we only have 3 weeks left for feature development in M3.
3. While you do coding, please keep the performance in mind.

Agenda

* Opens collection - 5 min (Song)
* Yocto 1.1.1 point release update - 10 min (Josh/Beth)
  - Josh: We have a branch ready to be build. Matthew had some issues last week, will continue to work on those. One fix is in master, but rather large and has not been tested. Propose to have another point release 1.1.2 to include those fixes and not to delay 1.1.1 release.
  - Matthew: Found issues around useradd stuff, file locking with useradd. Doing more testing, have 2-3 months before next release. RP: there are some open issues in this area, should allow more time and put these in the next point release.
  - Beth is generating RC for Edison right. Last week there was some autobuilder upgrade, some of them is software. Build history only happens on nightly master. Over the weekend, there are some issues caused instability. Beth will talk to Michael to manage the infrastructure better. Master build looks good. Only one issue. Everything should be stable right now.
  - Beth will sent emails out listing changes and impact before autobuilder hw/sw upgrade going forward.

* Yocto 1.2 M3 status - 10 min (Song/Team)
https://wiki.yoctoproject.org/wiki/Yocto_Project_v1.2_Status
  - We are in the 3rd week of M3, M3 feature freeze is Feb. 26th, we have 3 more weeks to go for feature development in M3.
  - Most of the items in testing stage got cleared after QA team came back.
  - 1/3 of what's left are in development, some of them are close to be completed. To the team: please complete your items and get them to patch review asap, do not wait until the end of M3 if you can.
  - still 2/3 of the items are not started yet. To the team: if you own one of those items, please take a look and see if you can start them asap since we only have 3 weeks left for feature development in M3.
  - Quality is still doing fine, but due to the ELC preparation, there has been a little uptick on the outstanding bugs. And we have 5 high bugs open this week. We already have plan for each of them.
* Opens - 10 min
 - Saul: State of where we are with pull. We hold off doing some pull due to autobuilder issues. Will be doing pull requests with Richard to clean up the queue.
* Team Sharing - 20 min
 - Sean: nothing, focusing ELC, doing presentation there.
 - Jessica: Focus on ELC/YDD.
 - Matthew: nothing
 - Jeff: nothing
 - Michael: tripped over hardware upgrade. Sorted out all problems now. Handled mail issues. Getting review board test site (patch review). So far, no issues for Bugzilla. Will schedule Bugzilla upgrade. Eglibc project is up and running, some people at Mentor is looking at it. Should have it tested soon.
  - Belen: Tiding up some design, have agreement on the main flow. PRC team should have what they need at this point. Will see if we can merge 2 videos (recipes and packages) together for Jessica.
  - Paul: last week, ELC, helping out ScottR with doc improvement, this week will get back on bug fix, features for M3.
  - Tom: Dev day, BSP pull. Will wrap up BSP tool and submit what we have. Tom pushed an RFC in the middle of Dec. Tom can send Sean a link about this. Next is Yocto kernel tool.
   - ScottR: last week handling doc issues, worked with Bruce, Paul for information with various areas. This week will be on kernel doc bug. It's one of the 2 medium ones. Also worked closely with Josh last week. Got good doc improvement.
  - Richard: pull request triggered some strange issues, fixed those issues. Reported some issues to upstream. Maintainer will make some changes. Performance monitoring. M2 we had some performance issues. Poking around for improvement. Continue patch merging, bug fixing. To the team: When coding, do keep performance in mind.
  - Josh: worked with ScottR on doc issues. Review BSPs, discussions regarding UI. 1.1.1 work. Prepare for ELC.
  - Beth: prepare ELC, autobuidler issues last week, find out more autobuilder changes to go in. next week, out of office on Friday. There is some licensing stuff to deal with.

The 1.2 issue is: 2074/2082 (former is the bug, later is the new test case)

Attendees:
Paul, Darren, Richard, Michael, Joshua, Tom, Jessica, Mark, Dave. Jeff, ScottR, Beth, Song

Agenda
* Opens collection - 5 min (Song)
* 1.1.1 release, thanks to Josh, Matthew, Beth and the whole team for getting this incredibly large point release out of the door.
  - Josh planning for 1.1.2, have some patches in the branch already
  - Action item: Retrospective for 1.1.1 (second week of April should work with Josh)
* Yocto 1.2 M4 status - 20 min (Song/Team) https://wiki.yoctoproject.org/wiki/Yocto_Project_v1.2_Status

   Bug fixing: fixed about 41 bugs, down to 131, to the level when we started 1.2, about average of the 1.2.
   High bugs:
      - 2066 glxgear still there: fixed qemu problem, working on BSP.
      - HOB2, either fixed or patch submitted. 1 doc HOB2 bugs. 2102 will take some time. Start on that today. 2157, video will be done after release. Replace with new screen shots.
      - Jessica: No need for eclipse video.
   Features:
      - About 20 or so features left (please check the task board). The team has reviewed them, it seems fine not to have them in this release. If anyone sees a bigger impact of any of those features, please let Song know.
      - RP: merged pretty much everything we want to merge, stabilizing RC1 build. We are not taking patches from community now. Did not communicate with community about the dates very well. Build is failing now, RP knows the issues and Paul and RP will fix those.

* SWAT team rotation: Jessica->Paul. Thanks to Paul for volunteering for this week. (Dexuan is pretty busy)

* Opens - 10 min
  - Michael: Schedule downtime moving autobuilder master to new hardware.
New hw is place, passed all burning test. Later this week would like to schedule 12 hours downtime for the move. Beth says no, let's do it sometime in April. Probably 3 weeks from now. The upgrade is purely hardware, no software including OS changes.
  - Mark: Pseudo problem, talking to peter. He has the problems fixed locally. Still verifying. Once he's done. Mark will construct something (recipes, etc). Should be sometime today. Purely a pseudo change. Mark will create a bug for this one to track the progress.

* Team Sharing - 20 min
Beth: fixing licenses, now have ability doing it at package level. Some autobuilder changes. None related to features on 1.2 list. Got 1.1.1 out. Releasing work this week.
Scott: reacting to issues coming over discussion list. X32 stuff in, a bunch of cleanup stuff. Notes about the manual. This week is to nail the 2 bugs on HOB.
Mark: office in new location :)
Jessica: last week, BSP/kernel tools integration, fixed some eclipse problems. This week to focus on Yocto plug-in.
Tom: preparing for BSP summit, updated doc for BSP tools, trying to get some bug fixes. BSP tools in master now. Next week in BSP summit.
Joshua: trying to help on HOB fixing, this week same, 1.1.2 branch.
Michael: received new servers, hard disks, servers installed. Went over new release script with Beth. 1 week on Drupal conference. Worked with Darren, got bugzilla plugin installed. Next week, virtualize web services, work on new look of the website.
Richard: Mostly patch review, merging, get ready for RC1. more bug fixing this week. Answering questions on the mailing list. Hope to get green RC1 this week.
Darren: last week doing internal BSP work, working on various boot image issues, couple of bugs, preparing BSP summit, working with Tom and Bruce on the content. This week, refactoring Linux kernel metadata. Very confined changes. Recipes will be refined. RP: we need to look at it. If it can be done quickly, it's possible to include it for the release.
Paul: bug fixing, troubleshooting for the release. 1784 is related to Pseudo and busybox. Will try to reproduce and fix it. SWAT duty, more bug fixing this week.

  - HOB issue: Shanghai team on holiday, Josh has been working on them, some patches are submitted, 2210 already has patches submitted. Josh will sync with Richard
  - Build Appliance has made great progress, solved the problem creating big files. Some problems remaining: run qemu within.
  - High bugs: have patches for 3, one has workaround, Tom has one, working on it.
    2157 - cannot do this until we release. Suggest to lower the priority. Saul will take a look.
  - Beth: Pre-RC2, things seem look ok. There are some patches that need to be pulled. No ETA, working with Richard. Build should be green, no issues from the build point of view.

  - Joshua: working on some HOB polishing issues, continue on HOB issues.
  - Saul: vacation last week, will work on patch pulling, RC2, build appliance, etc.

Attendees:
Michael, Scott, Saul, Paul, Richard, Jeremy, Tom, Jeff Polk, Jessica, Nitin, Josh, Song, Mark, ScottG

Agenda
* Opens collection - 5 min (Song)
* Yocto 1.2 status - 5 min (Song)
  - 1.2 was released yesterday afternoon. Congrats to everyone and thanks for the team's hard word and great support from the community.
* Yocto 1.3 planning  - 10 min (Song/team)
  - Bugzilla, target version, priority, Time tracking. Michael will work with Saul on these issues.
  - this week the team is putting new features in Bugzilla and doing the estimation. Estimation is in 'perfect day's and is due by the end of this week.
  - Next week: will have the milestone schedule and assign features into milestones. Hopefully milestones will start in the week of 14th.

* Yocto 1.2.1 - Scott Garman
  - Scott is the maintainer for YP 1.2.1. Bugzilla target milestone (1.2.1), low risk, plan to use 6-8 weeks before we have RC1 for 1.2.1

* SWAT team rotation: Jessica -> Paul

* Opens - 10 min
  - Schedule downtime on autobuilder (Michael): We have new hardware, need downtime (6 hour window), only the builders (does not include git repos). The team is ok with this downtime this week.
  - Scott: hook up with Richard to get Poky repo synced up with docs. Offline
  - Paul: whiteboard field. We will use whiteboard for estimation before we have a bugzilla field.
  - Jeremy: tag for bitbake for 1.2? Yes, we will have tag, Richard will take care of it.
  - Richard: We got 1.2 release out now. Pull 1.3 patches and things together. There are things that have gone into the master. We switched to gcc 4.7, eglibc 2.15. Poky-Tiny is failing with the switch, there are a couple of failures in a couple of BSPs, in general it's working. Master is open for development. Please fix bugs for 1.2.1, it will be nice to get them fixed once and for all. Master-next is used to test things that will go into master.

Attendees:
Saul, Jessica, Paul, Belen, Jim, Alex, Mark, Tom, ScottG, Richard, ScottR, Denys, Darren, Michael, Laurentiu, Beth, Josh, Chris, Noor, Jefro, Cristian, Song

Alex: Dev manager for the team in Romania, happy to be involved. All team members should be able to join next Tuesday. Alex can be the contact person.

Agenda
* Opens collection - 5 min (Song)
* 1.2.1 update - 10 min (ScottG)
  - 27 bugs fixed, 20 bugs remaining, target for RC1, June 18th,
  - taking patches into my own contrib branch, will send out email to oe-core and yocto mailing, asking the community how this process should work, scott is selecting patches for the release currently.
  - When we can have access to a stable release for testing, anyone who are interested can do it now, rebasing may destabilize it for a while though.
* 1.1.2 update - 10 min (Josh)
  - Have a branch, there are 1 issues cannot be reproduced. There's another reported by Mark, not sure if this can be in 1.1.2. We already have all the fixes for this release. Will have the build ready in a week or so.
  - QA testing: QA will need to find time testing this release after the build is ready.
* Yocto 1.3 status  - 10 min (Song/team)
  - 1.3 feature list: https://wiki.yoctoproject.org/wiki/Yocto_1.3_Features
    * For all P1 items, now we have (p1) on the bug white board. We will discuss on how we should use the priority field of the bug.
    * Please schedule all P1 features/tasks for 1.3 milestones (M1-M4)

  - 1.3 schedule: https://wiki.yoctoproject.org/wiki/Yocto_1.3_Schedule
    * We have a lot more items scheduled for M3 and M2 than M1. M4 looks fine.
    * Bigger items (> 5D) should be divided into smaller ones (<=5D), so that we can have better understanding on these items and deliver them more evenly in each milestone. This is especially for P1 items.

  - 1.3 status: https://wiki.yoctoproject.org/wiki/Yocto_Project_v1.3_Status
    * Please update the status for all bugs that you are currently working on in the 1.3 schedule by every Monday 9:00AM your timezone.

* SWAT team rotation: Darren -> Beth
* Opens - 5 min
  - Saul: Syncing up on master build with Beth and others on IRC/Jabber
  - Mark: Working on update alternative change, the entire system is modified. It's changed to link renaming. Fairly large submit in the next day or so. Fixed a lot of things in RPM case.
  - Richard: travelling last week. There has been changes for autobuolder infrastructure, not stable at the moment. This week will focus on where we are for master and get patched merged and build stabilized. Figure out where we are, what are the issues and then address them.
  - Darren: meta-intel is going to be released a few weeks after YP release. ETA, end of May for QA testing. The last 10% of FRI II turns out to be a lot more. Noor: do we have Crossville BSP? Tom: We can have it for 1.3 if we can find hardware. Song will look into the hardware availability.

  - Darren: working on poky-tiny, got patches out there with busy box config, ready to go in. This week, warping up some kernel drivers this week, will work on the accelerometer driver next week.
  - Michael: new bugzilla category is up and alive. Upgraded RAID controller, replaced hard drivers. New autobuilder node is coming up today or tomorrow.
  RP: Can we document on the wiki about the autobuilder, which machine is running what and with what distro. (Paul) There are some code in sanity test for distro identification. Beth will put together the wiki page and send out an email (This week).
  RP: bug counts data, auto collecting information. Michael: some issues, will be moving to the new server and fix them. RP: get data to RP first, without graphics it's ok. Data is a great start.
  - Saul: Working on package re-order, will be sending out the pull request this morning along with build history. Any feedback/comments, let me know. It's great if more people can look at them. Will fix the package reporting system.
   - RP: a few patches: rp working some patches on fetchers. Paul's patch: forcing particular tasks to re-run, response to some bugs reported by Jason from Wind River. Make kernel config change on the fly and make sure it gets rebuild, etc.
