Has anyone had the 2.5.65 kernel compile correctly with the 3C59X
driver? I get a QM_MODULE - Function Not Implemented message. Then
PPP and the associated drivers fail as well.

Your message implies that you are trying to
compile the kernel with the module. If this is
correct, is it really necessary? 3C59X is a well
known network card and I've always seen it
compiled as a module to be loded via insmod. I
had trouble with one years ago, with RH4.2, but
never again later.
Look out for Donald J. Becker's site. Last time I
visited it there were many notes on new
situations arising with new versions either
kernel, card, firmware, etc. with tips. Donald
used to be at NASA but I think not anymore.
