I have been getting something similar with all kernels after about
2.4.21-pre7-ac1. Switching to SuSE 8.2, the SuSE 2.4.20-4GB kernel and a
modded kernel to include CH PRODUCTS Flight Control yoke and pedals work
fine. All others up to 2.4.22-pre7 just halt needing a hardware reset,
the ALT-SYSRQ keys do not work. CTRL-ALT-DEL gets as far as stopping
HOTPLUG services and locks up with no oops displayed.
Attached is an extract from /var/log/messages.
Regards
Sid.
