Hi,
I would like to remind you that we got a stand for OE at FOSDEM and as I
see it do not have organised anything for it yet.

Who will have some time to be at the stand?

Do we have flyers left from previous events?

Do we have posters from previous?

If we print (who can do this?) new flyers/posters who can incorporate
the new logo and colours into them?

Regards
Robert

No hope to get my sales manager to fund a trip to FOSDEM,
so I did not even bother to ask...
Have ton's of air milage so I just booked a ticket.

I am trying to get some AVR32 AP7000 Network gateways
as encouragement to to people that feel they contributed
to the AVR32 open-embedded port, or in lack of that,
some general enthusiasm about the AVR32 might be good enough :-)

If I am really lucky, I might also be able to lay my hands on a STK1000
top board equipped with the brand new AT32AP7200.

See you there

Good to know.
BTW following such enthusiasm I'm starting a port for AT91SAM9G20-EK in
OE ;-)

I will be there and bring some useful things. I can go around the office and
collect some gadgets and other equipment we might need. :-)
I try to select some less common devices and/or dangerous looking evaluation
boards :-)

I'll definitely spend some time there.

Yes I have the nice poster we made for LinuxTag.

this both sounds pretty good. I planned to bring my NGW100 with me, but a
STK1000 would be much more attracting. Just apart from the fact that I'd like to
see some other architectures than ARM at our stand.

Greetings

This year I will not take progear with me - it is too big and crappy to
show it to people. Especially when nearly no one uses this device...

Be carefull transporting STK1000 baseboards, mine has an 'always-on'
powerswitch now. The lever sticks out quite a bit and a little pressure
makes the switch break apart a little too easy.

What about this Vortex86SX ?
http://www.koala.it/it/nanopc.htm

If someone could help me creating a configuration for this machine, we
could show it FOSDEM OE stand :-)

Try making a copy of qemux86.conf, that builds and works.

Maybe someone has a MIPS router such as the asus or linksys wrt ones...I
don't know if I could bring mine because It's used in case something goes
wrong with my main router(gentoo computer with hostapd,libnl,bcm4318
etc...)
And if you cut the power it does go wrong(the hostapd service doesn't
start) and cutting the power can happend(just use 2 machines that consume
a lot of power...and the electricity is gone...)

There is also another problem...I didn't see any image to bitbake for
it(but there are distro config files and machine config files)

Denis.

Vortex86sx is i486 based non-FPU device so rather base on x86 + proper
kernel config.

If I get an STK1005, It will be brand new, and nothing running on it...

Didn't plan to bring a baseboard, but if someone brings one,
the STK1005 could be fitted on top.

x86 is broken, I was only able to build i586-generic :-(
