More from John.
Although the card described on the wiki and the card that I own both
have the same name and have Fusion DVB-T Dual Express Rev:1.1 printed on
the underside, they are not identical eg:-

Wiki Card 2x Xceive 3008ACQ Mine 2x Xceive3028ACQ
Wiki Card 2x WJCE 6353 Mine 2x WJCE 6353
Wiki Conexant Cx23885 -13Z Mine Conexant Cx23885 -13Z
Wiki Card 28.636360 Kony 0703 Mine 28.636360 Kony 0741
Wiki Card 4.000000Kony 0703 Mine 4.000000Kony 0741
Wiki Card 0716Y 20.480 Mine 0720Y 20.480

I presume that this explains the problems that I am having and that I
will just have to wait until if/when this particular version of the
card is supported.
