Some people from China got in touch with me and proposed to change it
to 14:00 GMT.

This works fine for me and I'd like to know if it works fine for you guys too?

has confirmed the intererest by e-mail and some more.

I had mistakenly made it a simple Hangout event and it is limted to 10
people so I cancelled it and made a Hangout on Air event.

The event is at:

https://plus.google.com/events/cq1dftmkakgiudjikiksirnqk1k?authkey=CJvvxP75m-OtGw

Sorry about that. We are learning how to do it ... in the next 10
meetings we'll do it perfectly ;-)

Any tips for newcomers?

Just need to bring a headset?

Perhaps we're supposed to attend with a web camera enabled?

I'm not a google services user (other than search), so your tips will be
appreciated.

Thanks,

There is 2 options:

1) read only - you will be able to see it ongoing just like any other youtube video. So, only audio is needed
2) read/write - you need to send your gmail account to Otavio, he includes/invites you to be part of the meeting (and appear in the movie/audio)

Yes, for the rw option

Basically yes.

You can watch in the Youtube channel or join the call to participate.
To join it, once it begins I will send the invite to all people but
the call is limited to 10 people. The channel is unlimited so everyone
can watch it.

Not necessary but welcome if you want to.

No problem, it is quite confusing indeed :D

Hello FSL BSL Community.

This is the first of 2 emails that I am forwarding from earlier
discussions regarding meta-fsl-ppc.

I have periodically used the meta-freescale board to raise issues that I
see about the disconnect between FSL's use of the Yocto Project repo,
their public GIT, and the SDK releases and a general lack of
transparency regarding their BSP / SDK development and bug resolution
process.

I hope these issues can be followed and worked in upcoming BSP meetings.

Bob

[Luo Zhenhua-B19537] meta-fsl-networking layer manages the packages
maintained internally, so the layer can't be upstreamed.

[Luo Zhenhua-B19537] For such case, we will consider to move the demo
image recipes into meta-fsl-ppc layer.

[Luo Zhenhua-B19537] Currently we are working on it, and will publish

This is a 2nd forwarded email that documents some of the issues I
previously raised regarding meta-fsl-ppc. I hope these issues can be
included for discussion in our FSL Community BSP meetings.

Thank you,

Bob

[Luo Zhenhua-B19537] To support above requirement, the bug related info
needs to be included in the commit message for better patch finding, we
will consider the enhancement in future. In current SDK. The resolved
critical bugs can be got from SDK documentation(SDK Overview -> Known
Issues).

[Luo Zhenhua-B19537] Currently the recipes update for meta-fsl-ppc in
public git(git.freescale.com and git.yoctoproject.org) are done when the
QorIQ SDK is formally released(two major releases per year). We are
working on the process of more frequent release for QorIQ SDK, and more
and more packages will be published in public git.

[Luo Zhenhua-B19537] Good suggestion.

[Luo Zhenhua-B19537] There is no dedicated mail list for FSL public git.
Currently meta-freescale@yoctoproject.org is used by community for
discussion of FSL SDK. FSL community
website(https://community.freescale.com/) can also be leveraged to raise
issue and question.

Zhenhua
