The mailing list started mangling my name.

The From is sent as:
From: =?UTF-8?q?Andr=C3=A9=20Draszik?= <git@andred.net>

but it comes back as:
From: "Andr? Draszik" <git@andred.net>

(and of course the patches in git look funny now)

Could sombody please look into that?

Cheers,
Andre'

Your name was mangled in the groups.io database (because of the "é").
I have updated it.. though I am not sure if this will fix the actual
problem. I guess we will know with your next message..

As being affected either by 'ü' in my name: This is a testmail :)

The From in Andreas' mail looks appears correct here ...

From: =?UTF-8?Q?Andreas_M=C3=BCller?= <schnitzeltony@gmail.com>

... and I suspect but the CC doesn't because Andreas' mail was
a reply to mine (which was mangled already).

Cc: "Andr? Draszik" <git@andred.net>

On a related note,

It appears groups.io is generating a new Message-Id header:

Message-Id: <15E914A621406CC1.15008@lists.yoctoproject.org>
X-Orig-Message-Id: <f868f741ae07674cb99e2b0c4ea6f7621ca16474.camel@andred.net>

Is this behaviour expected?

Cheers,
Andre'

If the lists reprocess the message (which they have to when sending
email back to yourself for example), the ID would change. A lot of the
behaviour now depends on the sender domain policies in place, one
reason we needed to move to groups.io as this is all getting too
complex to maintain as a project :(

Cheers,

Richard
