Hi all,

As a part of the project that I am working on, I need to run Ethenet-Powerlink
under Xenomai. After some googling I found a publication "Ethernet POWERLINK
for Linux version of the REX Control System". Except this publication there is
not many useful documentation on this issue. They have modified the
OpenPowerlink source code. Modifiying openpowerlink is a bit complicated work
for me because I am not experienced on these areas :( Is there anybody who have
experienced with Ethernet-Powerlink under Xenomai? Any comment, any doc will be
really helpful and I will be appreciated.

Thanks.

Fatih Ulusoy

Hi Cyril,

Thanks for your reply.
First we have decided to use powerlink and then Xenomai. Therefore, I want to
use Ethenet-Powerlink under Xenomai. BTW, I know RTnet but I actually I don't
know the difference between it and powerlink. From my understanding, Powerlink
looks more accepted solution. Powerlink has more documentation than RTnet. This
is important point for me as a starter :)

I need to discuss that with my colleagues.

Best Regards.

Hi Fatih,

You have Rtnet which work on Xenomai and is similar to powerlink. To my mind,
Openpowerlink need a lot of work to run with Xenomai.
