Dear Expert:

I want to porting the Virtio to the XEN via
reference to the below links.

                    https://wiki.xen.org/wiki/Virtio_On_Xen.

If I have ported the Virtio as the following guides
,whether it may reach my requirement, which is in the HVM guest?

My expected result is that visit I/O via the virtio.
Would you please give me answers ?

Thanks.

The wikipage you mention is very outdated AFAICT. The following
wikipage is likely more relevant:

https://wiki.xenproject.org/wiki/QEMU_Upstream#VirtIO

I'm afraid you haven't provided enough information for us to help you.

What have you done exactly?

I assume what you did didn't work out as you would expect, can you
provide the error that you get?

Thanks, Roger.

That page is very dated.

What are your requirements?

Seeing that your company seems to work on automotive projects, I know
Julien from Arm has done some work for Xen on Arm, if you can be more
specific, maybe Julien can give you an answer?

Wei.

Dear Wei:

Now,  I only make a demo in x86 platform and it is just a try.

Not sure that whether it is successful using Virtio tech
in the XEN project.

I found it is a huge and difficult try.

If there are problems related to arm in the future, I will
ask to Julien.

Thank you for your recommendation again.

Thanks.

If you just want to have a demo, I don't think you need to use the
patches listed on that page.

Wei.

Not all virtio drivers has a Xen counterpart. So it depends what you are looking
at for your demo.

Cheers,
