You'd have to try with linux-2.6.git or at least linux-omap-2.6.git for
this report to be valuable. Sorry, here we can only help with the open
source mainline kernel.

I not familiar with the Android kernels, but based on this error:
Check that "CONFIG_USB_DEVICEFS=y" in your kernel configuration.
