Hi please find below a new issue I filled on Launchpad. Thank you.

[1.] One line summary of the problem:
[Asus ZenBook UX501] Touchpad doesn't have multitouch support

[2.] Full description of the problem/report:
The touchpad isn't recognized as such so there is no multitouch
support. xinput displays "FTE1001:00 0B05:0101" instead. And the
function key to enable or disable the touchpad is not working either.
