Hello

I am planning to connect a dual port nvme ssd which has two namespace to
two different hosts. One of these hosts will reserve a namespace 1 and use
it through SPDK driver. The other namespace will be attached to a the
kernel nvme driver on the second host for a regular filesystem operations.

Do you foresee any issues with this approach?

Thanks

We tested the similar scenario before with Intel D3700 NVMe, and it can work with SPDK and kernel driver in 2 different hosts.
