Ceph 0.94.8 Hammer released

[Sage Weil]

This Hammer point release fixes several bugs.

We recommend that all hammer v0.94.x users upgrade.

I don't see any .8 packages for Debian/Ubuntu yet in the older path:

And the flavors variant path:
https://download.ceph.com/debian-hammer/flavors/default/pool/main/c/ceph/
does not contain Hammer builds for Precise yet.

The "flavors variant" was introduced with recent changes to support
the unified CI build system. So packages got built, signed, and
published
but to the wrong place.

Those have been removed and should be re-published soon. Thanks for catching it!

The binaries are now pushed to the right location. Let me know if you

We aren't going to have an EL6 binary for 0.94.8 because a dependency
was added that isn't available:

Error: No Package found for boost-random


There is a current branch that removes this, but will probably mean a new tag.

No. We are going to officially skip it for 0.94.8 :)

We are working to get it working for 0.94.9 at the moment.
