Hi all,

I've just tagged LVFS 1.4.0 -- which is mostly artificial as we've
been using git snapshots on the production instance for some time now.
The release highlights can be found here:
https://lvfs.readthedocs.io/en/latest/news.html

While the deployment is happening there will be a ~15 minute window
where some ODMs will be unable to access firmware uploaded on behalf
of another OEM as the database schema has slightly changed. Once the
post-upgrade fsck check is completed then everything will be working
exactly as before (and we've tested this on the QA instance). There
will be no interruption to user downloads or automatic vendor uploads.

If you find you can't access a firmware you think you should be able
to access -- go grab a coffee and it should work when you come back.
As always, happy to answer questions on any of the new features, but
please send email to lvfs-general@lists.linuxfoundation.org not this
mailing list. Thanks.

Richard.
