Request update on Bug 194691 - Unreachable CIFS mount hangs system

Hi,

Could you please review the bug 194691
https://bugzilla.kernel.org/show_bug.cgi?id=194691 and let me know if
there are any upcoming patches that can fix this issue.

This has become a severe issue for our software after upgrading from
3.14 to 3.16 and any pointers on handling it would help.

Reconnect fixes were backported to 3.16 kernel starting from v3.16.42
version. I suggest upgrading the kernel from v3.16.38 (as mentioned in
the bug) to the newer one.

The issue is reproducible on 3.16.42 and 3.16.44.
