Can anyone recommend a good demo process (image, setup, etc)
to see Weston and/or Wayland running on an i.MX6Q, e.g. the
SabreLite?

bitbake core-image-weston and run weston-simple-egl and weston-simple-shm
That will be more than enough. glmark2_wayland also supports wayland, need
a little recipe fix.
