I have not been able to dedicate time to the GPIO subsystem since quite
some time, and I don't see the situation improving in the near future.
Update the maintainers list to reflect this unfortunate fact.

Linus,

I apologize for not being able to help you further (and not having done
anything useful for way too long!). As I need to focus on other areas of
the kernel (V4L) it is clear that I won't be able to be more active in
the near future. If things improve I would be very happy to send a reverse
patch someday though.

JFYI: we have a designated reviewer typo of status.
I'm just wondering if it fits your case.

In practice that's basically what I was doing since I did not manage
any tree - just doing reviews and stuff. But that's precisely what I
cannot afford to do since a while, hence the withdrawal.

OTOH I agree it would be nice if a few people active on the GPIO list
could consider adding themselves as reviewers!

Sad to see you go :(

However I see the work you are doing on Noveau and such that is
also extremely important.

Do you have a TODO with e.g. gpiod conversions etc that you
have planned but never go to you could submit? I'd be happy to
carry that in Documentation/gpio/TODO or so.

Yours,
Linus Walleij

Me too, honestly. :/

Sadly my work on Nouveau is also in the past. I am more headed towards V4L now.

Nothing in particular, last time I have checked it seemed that at
least new drivers were sticking to gpiod, which is nice to see!

Thanks for everything, and probably see you again!
Alex.
