This is the second version of patch series which adds basic support for
IEEE 802.15.4 Medium Access Control layer.

The IEEE 802.15.4 Working Group focuses on the standardization of the
bottom two layers of ISO/OSI protocol stack: Physical (PHY) and MAC.
The MAC layer provides access control to a shared channel and reliable
data delivery.

This series provide only basic features:
 - interface for drivers registration
 - RX/TX datapaths
 - reduced mlme operations
 - monitor device type support (used by network sniffers, e.g. Wireshark)
 - IEEE 802.15.4 loopback driver
 - documentation update

Changes since last post:
 * lots and lots of coding style and poor formating issues
 * additional comments
 * using proper byte order (little endian)
 * locking in loopback driver
 * mac802154: allocation of ieee802154 device: using of NETDEV_ALIGN,
 reworked like for ieee80211 stack (net/mac80211/main.c)
 The reason why I use alignment of data in ieee802154 layer is because of
 there are two levels of private data: mac layer's and driver's.

[PATCH 01/14 v2] mac802154: basic ieee802.15.4 device structures

The IEEE 802.15.4 Working Group focuses on the standardization of the
bottom two layers of ISO/OSI protocol stack: Physical (PHY) and MAC.
The MAC layer provides access control to a shared channel and reliable
data delivery. The main functions performed by the MAC sublayer are:
association and disassociation, security control, optional star
network topology functions, such as beacon generation and Guaranteed
Time Slots (GTSs) management, generation of ACK frames (if used), and,
finally, application support for the two possible network topologies
described in the standard.

This is an initial commit which describes main data structures needed
for ieee802.15.4 compatible devices representation in MAC layer and
callbacks that the driver may, or in some cases, must handle, for
example to transmit a frame

[PATCH 03/14 v2] mac802154: RX data path

[Alexander Smirnov]

Main RX data path implementation between physical and mac layers.
Both contexts are supported: interrupt (data processed via worker)
and non-interrupt (data processed directly).

[PATCH 05/14 v2] mac802154: define reduced mlme operations

According IEEE 802.15.4 standard each node can be either full functionality
device (FFD) or reduce functionality device (RFD). So 2 sets of operations
are needed. This patch define RFD operations structure.

[PATCH 09/14 v2] ieee802154: remove ieee802154 policy from globals

[Alexander Smirnov]

This item is used inside ieee802154 layer only and it shouldn't be
defined in headers, common for multiple layers. But at the same time it
can't be marked as static because it's used in several files inside
ieee802154 layer. So just move ieee802154 netlink policy array
definition to more appropriate place.

Is the word "slave" used by IEEE 802.15.4 or by the kernel part you expand?

I remember a few years ago someone advocating against the usage of the word "slave", due to its 
meaning outside of IT. I know it is used many time in the kernel (in particular in bonding), but if 
people advocate against this usage, we should use "port" instead, if and when possible.

(Yes, I know, I just posted a patch to document the active_slave option for bonding... :-/ ).

These enumeration definitions for flags are undesriable for several
reasons.

First you do not even indicate what datastructure member these flags
are used in.  And because you use an enumeration you can't just indicate
this by using "enum ieee802154_hw_addr_filt_flags" as the type in the
datastructure.

Forget all the enum crap, at the datastructure where the flags are defined
do something like:

Regarding your comments to my previous post, none of them was omitted. I
reworked code according to them and added extended comments in a patch
explaining why I can't follow your hint. The issue with 'bool' you marked
was in another patch (#14) which I already fixed.
