Unfortunately the upstreaming work had to be put a little in hold, so for a
more mature support I recommend using our vendor branch at git.freescale.com.

Regarding the rootfs, please note that starting with bsp9.0 only Yocto
generated rootfs is supported, but Vision SDK still uses an older version.

I recommend you contact an NXP representative for more details regarding
access to the Yocto sources, Vision SDK, documentation and other
information.

If you don't know who to contact, please send me an email on my work email
(same as my email in this thread, but @nxp.com) and we can clear up the
details without spamming the community.
