I didn't actually look at those kernel trees so I hadn't noticed yet.
In any case, I'd suggest that we just keep this wrapper then, but
please add a comment describing why it's there.

I didn't actually look at those kernel trees so I hadn't noticed yet.
In any case, I'd suggest that we just keep this wrapper then, but
please add a comment describing why it's there.
