hello,
i've switched recently from imx.6 sabre sd (everything worked fine) to
sabre auto, built my entier filesystem and npoticed that when the system
boots, the display shows "no signal message".
I've tried passing video=mxcfb0:dev=hdmi,1024x768M@60,if=RGB24
video=mxcfb1:off video=mxcfb2:off video=mxcfb3:off and when i do the kernel
freezes during boot.
Following is the default log

Hi Daiane,
I'm using framebuffer and i've tried te setenv as proposed without any
change.
The thing is i had no issues with Sabre for smart devices (dual lite) but
i'm really stuck with the sabre auto.
Other images work fine (not yocto based) so it does not look to be an issue
related to my hardware, i'm just stuck with my yocto master-next build.
Sorry for prompting you directly Salvador, have you had this kind of issues
in the past ?

I don't have the SabreAUTO boards so I never booted it myself. However
it seems to be missing boot arguments. Take a look in the proposed
patch, from Nikolay, for SabreSD to add the video args and try
something similar to see if it helps.

Another thing, please stay on Fido. master is a wild place these days
and you shouldn't base products on this.

In the bug I sent to you, there is a command line to disable the HDMI
splash in u-boot, no rebuild needed. If it's only a test it's quicker.

When coming from Sabre SD to Auto/ARD board, there is always to commom
mistakes: UART# and FB#.

Please, double check if you are using the right FB number, and the
right DI number (in bootargs for kernel).

I would need to understand better your environment in order to go
further. But if you're using FSL reference board, it should be only
bootargs...
