The last patch in this series causes a build error with magician_defconfig:

/home/arnd/linux-arm/arch/arm/mach-pxa/hx4700.c:298:2: error: unknown field 'clock_rate' specified in initializer
/home/arnd/linux-arm/arch/arm/mach-pxa/hx4700.c:298:2: error: initialization makes pointer from integer without a cast [-Werror]
/home/arnd/linux-arm/arch/arm/mach-pxa/hx4700.c:298:2: error: (near initialization for 'asic3_platform_data.leds') [-Werror]
cc1: all warnings being treated as errors
make[2]: *** [arch/arm/mach-pxa/hx4700.o] Error 1
make[1]: *** [arch/arm/mach-pxa] Error 2
make[1]: *** Waiting for unfinished jobs....
make: *** [sub-make] Error 2

Did you miss a dependency? Should I revert that patch for now?

hx4700.c expects to find the clock_rate field in the
asic3_platform_data structure.

The clock_rate field is due to be added in V3.5:

This is not good, you should not split patches in a way that breaks
the individual pieces. It would have been better to just take the entire
patch through either arm-soc or the mfd tree.

Any suggestions for a way out of this mess? I'm inclined to just
revert the patch I have and let Samuel pick it up to submit it along
with the other half.

	Arnd

I apologise if it's causing problems; I was trying to avoid
crossing maintainer boundaries.

Revert it and I'll resubmit it unchanged for V3.6.

Regards,
Paul

We can still get it into 3.5, that's not the problem, let's
just try to keep the kernel bisectible in the process.

That sounds reasonable. However, it's too late now for a 3.5 inclusion, so
I'll queue it to my for-next branch.
Paul, could you please re-send this patch to me ?

Cheers,
Samuel.
