ACTION:  Ira to query OP Japan mailing list:
(a) Is the OPVP filter still used by Japanese manufacturers?
(b) If yes, would OP Japan maintainers be willing to modify OPVP filter to
remove dependencies on non-standard Poppler APIs?
(c) Otherwise, should OP add a Google Summer of Code 2017 project to update
OPVP?
