Hi, experts:

In U-boot mini summit 2013, not talk about android fastboot protocol
support in U-boot mainline code?

In the ppt which introduced DFU, it said:

Google Chromebook use DFU tool?

I am curious:

Why Google not continue to use fastboot tool in Chromebook?

Best wishes,

I don't know exact Google policy. What I do know is that
Googole uses u-boot for their Samsung SoC based Chromebooks.

Also the info on the page:
http://www.chromium.org/chromium-os/u-boot-porting-guide/2-concepts

clearly states that it is possible to enable DFU for Chromebooks, which
are using u-boot.

More detailed information is probably Google secret, so you can ask
further questions to Google employees.

DFU is also standardized by USB implementers forum, fastboot is not.
