Hi

Should the commit 44b3834b2eed595af07021b1c64e6f9bc396398b ("arm64:
errata: Remove AES hwcap for COMPAT tasks") be backported to the stable
kernels, because it fixes data corruption?

Mikulas

<formletter>

This is not the correct way to submit patches for inclusion in the
stable kernel tree.  Please read:
    https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/process/stable-kernel-rules.html
for how to do this properly.

It is in stable kernels, specifically 5.18.18 and 5.19.2. If you wish
to see it backported to older kernels, please provide us with a set of
working backports.

thanks,
