Hi,

Matt and I will attend FOSDEM2019 and thought it would be a good
opportunity to see if others plan to attend as well. If so, we had an
idea of trying to organize some adhoc meetings and try to talk about
some topics that people are interested in.

One topic could be:
Cyril's "[RFC] [PATCH] lib: Add support for test tags" [1].

If you have any other suggestions on topic you would like to discuss
please let us know.
If you going to be there please reply.

Cheers,
Anders

I'll be there, though not on work time.

I am planning to be at FOSDEM and would like to join an ad-hoc meeting.

Since FOSDEM is usually quite crowded: Does anyone know if it is possible
to organize a room for that meeting.

Cheers

It is possible to (at least last year) to sign up for a room for an hour
at a time. You may need to ask around to find out where the sign up. I
think last year it may have been on a wall by th eK info desk. Or online
and possibly no syncing between them. Hopefully a bit smother this year.

That's a good question, I've asked the FOSDEM organizers and they said that
they are already using all the rooms at campus. However, there's few BoF
rooms that can "book" for shorter meetings. The downside is that they can
only be booked on site.

Do we have any topics we would like to discuss?

Cheers,
Anders

Hi everyone,

I have created a page at the elinux.org wiki with the information about a
possible meeting I found on this list:

https://elinux.org/Automated_Testing_FOSDEM2019

Feel free to update the page. If we have enough topics for a meeting we
could try to get one of the BoF-rooms.
Otherwise we could still try to have an informal meeting outside the campus
(Maybe in the evening?).

Regards
Chris

Hi!
> Do we have any topics we would like to discuss?

I do, I've been working on the replacement for the LTP testrunner, so I
would like to start discussion around that.

First of all I would like to know if we need a LTP testrunner, and if so
how to make its CI integration easier for everyone, what features are
needed, etc.

And this is also at least a little bit connected to the test
documentation and metadata propagation since the testrunner should make
use of that as well:

(see http://lists.linux.it/pipermail/ltp/2018-November/010118.html)

Linaro will have a stand at FOSDEM 2019 in the AW building. The stand
will be on the ground floor, along the corridor from AW120 near
MicroPython and PINE64. Various Linaro and LAVA people will be around
the stand during the event, so this can act as a focal point for
anyone wanting to talk about Linaro and or LAVA during FOSDEM.

The AW building is near the car park, across from Janson and the H building.

Various Linaro and LAVA people have been routinely attending FOSDEM
for a number of years. If you are able to get there, we will be happy
to see you.
