Hello,
We ran automated tests on a patchset that was proposed for merging into this
kernel tree. The patches were applied to:
Kernel repo: git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/stable/linux.git
Commit: e109a984cf38 - Linux 4.19.48
The results of these automated tests are provided below.
Overall result: FAILED (see details below)
Merge: OK
Compile: FAILED
We attempted to compile the kernel for multiple architectures, but the compile
failed on one or more architectures:
ppc64le: FAILED (see build-ppc64le.log.xz attachment)
We hope that these logs can help you find the problem quickly. For the full
detail on our testing procedures, please scroll to the bottom of this message.
Please reply to this email if you have any questions about the tests that we
ran or if you have any suggestions on how to make future tests more effective.

My fault, I added a patch that should not have been backported to 4.19.
I've now dropped it, hopefully this should resolve the error.
Thanks for the report, much appreciated!

Hello,
We ran automated tests on a patchset that was proposed for merging into this
kernel tree. The patches were applied to:
Kernel repo: git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/stable/linux.git
Commit: e109a984cf38 - Linux 4.19.48
The results of these automated tests are provided below.
Overall result: FAILED (see details below)
Merge: OK
Compile: FAILED
We attempted to compile the kernel for multiple architectures, but the compile
failed on one or more architectures:
aarch64: FAILED (see build-aarch64.log.xz attachment)
We hope that these logs can help you find the problem quickly. For the full
detail on our testing procedures, please scroll to the bottom of this message.
Please reply to this email if you have any questions about the tests that we
ran or if you have any suggestions on how to make future tests more effective.

The testing was triggered right before the release was made so we grabbed
the patch list from the series file. The actual patch application was
executed after the release so the files obviously didn't exist anymore,
leading to this error.
I'll add some handling for this situation, sorry.

Hello,
We ran automated tests on a patchset that was proposed for merging into this
kernel tree. The patches were applied to:
Kernel repo: git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/stable/linux.git
Commit: 0df021b2e841 - Linux 4.19.47
The results of these automated tests are provided below.
Overall result: FAILED (see details below)
Merge: FAILED
When we attempted to merge the patchset, we received an error:
Patch is empty.
We hope that these logs can help you find the problem quickly. For the full
detail on our testing procedures, please scroll to the bottom of this message.
Please reply to this email if you have any questions about the tests that we
ran or if you have any suggestions on how to make future tests more effective.

It didn't fail. stress-ng got into oom situation on aarch64 and we don't seem
to be reporting this kind of warning properly, since the summary says fail but
the actual test list reports everything passed. Sorry.
Jeff, can you take a look whether this is a test issue that needs to be worked
around or if the test caught something? The machine has 16G RAM and 224 cores
so maybe something doesn't scale properly?
Thanks,
Veronika

Hello,
We ran automated tests on a patchset that was proposed for merging into this
kernel tree. The patches were applied to:
Kernel repo: git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/stable/linux.git
Commit: 9c2556f428cf - Linux 4.19.42
The results of these automated tests are provided below.
Overall result: FAILED (see details below)
Merge: OK
Compile: FAILED
We attempted to compile the kernel for multiple architectures, but the compile
failed on one or more architectures:
ppc64le: FAILED (see build-ppc64le.log.xz attachment)
We hope that these logs can help you find the problem quickly. For the full
detail on our testing procedures, please scroll to the bottom of this message.
Please reply to this email if you have any questions about the tests that we
ran or if you have any suggestions on how to make future tests more effective.

Hi,
please ignore this failure -- we discussed this with the test developer and
he confirmed this is a setup problem and not kernel failure.
The test was not happy with insufficient disk space on the machine (required
for proper execution). We'll fix the problem and let you know in case another
run happens on a tiny machine before we manage to fix it.
Thanks and sorry for the noise,

Waived tests (marked with 🚧)
-----------------------------
This test run included waived tests. Such tests are executed but their results
are not taken into account. Tests are waived when their results are not
reliable enough, e.g. when they're just introduced or are being fixed.
